Jade Marie Bajai talks about the British Ladies Club of Luxembourg in this installment of the “Meet the communities” series.

Jade took on the reins of the from Dawn Butler in February. Raised in Scotland, she has lived in Luxembourg for a decade and took on the role to “infuse the club with fresh energy and help it to achieve its objectives.”

One of her favourite locations in Luxembourg is near the Foundation Pescatore, in part because she enjoys the people watching there, but also because “I just find it really calm. It has an air of tranquility.” It’s also not far from the Pfaffenthal panorama lift, which she says reminds her of something from a Roald Dahl book.

According to Jade, the BLC has 26 nationalities, with Luxembourgers representing the second biggest cohort. What’s nice about the club is that “you always have someone to do activities with… you always have this like safety net of women.” At the time of writing, Jade was also excited about the club gearing up for their partnering on an event for the coronation of King Charles III.
