Jean Asselborn, minister for foreign and European affairs, was hospitalised in the CHL on Sunday night for a flu infection. His appointments for the next few days have been cancelled.

All the upcoming trips of (LSAP) have been cancelled and will be postponed to a later date, the ministry of foreign and European affairs announced in a short press release on Monday morning. The 73-year-old minister was hospitalised on the night of Sunday 26 to Monday 27 February due to an influenza infection (a  virus, which is ).

He will be given symptomatic treatment at the Centre hospitalier de Luxembourg (CHL), the capital’s largest hospital.
