Deloitte Luxembourg managing partner John Psaila on Monday was confirmed for a second four-year mandate at the helm of the Big Four consultancy.

Psaila started as a junior at Deloitte in 1995, joining the Luxembourg office in 2001, where he was promoted to partner in 2008. In 2015, he was appointed to the firm’s executive committee as reputation and risk leader.

Aged 39, Psaila was first elected as Deloitte Luxembourg’s managing partner in October 2017. His second mandate, which officially starts on 1 June next year, was confirmed on 15 November.

“I am extremely grateful for the unwavering support of my partners and thank them for their renewed trust. It is a privilege for me to lead a firm like ours and I look forward to the next years with energy and determination,” Psaila said in a statement.

“I am convinced that we are well-equipped to further build on the growth story of the past years and continue to resolutely evolve with agility whilst constantly exceeding our clients’ expectations,” he said.

Deloitte Luxembourg currently numbers 139 partners and 2,300 professionals in its audit and assurance, tax, and advisory and consulting branches.
