On 17 June at 3.45pm, the stage at Nexus Luxembourg 2025 will host a key panel: “AI-powered productivity: how intelligent systems are transforming work and efficiency.” Bringing together (head of business planning Europe WFS, Amazon), (co-founder & chief data engineer, Galytix), (co-founder, Beta-i) and (deputy CEO, EIF), the discussion will be moderated by Pascal Condamine (CMO, Craft AI).
As artificial intelligence becomes a lasting force in the professional world, this panel will explore how intelligent systems are reshaping productivity--optimising processes, automating tasks and enabling smarter decision-making. The goal: to provide real-world examples and inspire organisations to deploy AI as a catalyst for operational performance. This article shines a spotlight on Juan Reyes, a strategic planning expert at Amazon Europe.
As head of business planning for Amazon in Europe, Reyes brings over 15 years of experience in the tech and consumer goods sectors. Having worked at Unilever and Procter & Gamble, he now leads Amazon’s generative AI and workforce automation initiatives across Europe, managing a multi-million-euro budget and a team of 200 people. With recognised expertise in strategy, finance and supply chains, he drives innovative programmes that turn digital transformation into measurable growth.
Recognised on the international stage, Reyes has shared his vision at supply chain & logistics conferences in Amsterdam, London and Barcelona. He holds an MBA from the University of Barcelona, a master’s in financial planning from Rice University and a degree in electronic engineering from Tecnologico de Monterrey. A multilingual speaker (Spanish, English, German, Luxembourgish), he holds dual Mexican-Luxembourgish nationality. Having lived in Luxembourg for six years, he brings together a global perspective and strong local roots.
For Reyes, artificial intelligence is not just about automating tasks: it should fundamentally transform our relationship with financial management. “I believe that AI should revolutionise financial management and decision-making. Imagine an AI solution that could provide personalised financial advice in real time by simultaneously analysing spending habits, market conditions and future goals,” he says. This vision of an AI capable of combining behavioural analysis, economic context and strategic projection paves the way for tailor-made tools capable of accompanying each financial decision with precision and anticipation. It’s a perspective that has particular resonance at a time when institutions and individuals are seeking to navigate more effectively in an uncertain economic environment.
