After several months of work, a complete renovation of the premises and a change of philosophy in terms of the menu, the Um Scheierhaff bistro located within the Mercure Luxembourg Kikuoka Golf & Spa hotel in Canach reopened its doors on 9 September 2020.
In the green setting of the establishment, the new team in place offers "locally inspired, healthy and gourmet cuisine", thanks in particular to chef Michaël Bastin, who has selected "the best of the region's products, which can be found on that changes with the seasons".
On this launch menu, you will find "Luxembourg label chicken, tarragon emulsion, creamy marsh bean purée and glazed carrots", "Luxembourg beef fillet, potatoes smoked in beech wood and thyme juice" and "a plate of Berdorf cheeses matured according to the chef's choice"...
The restaurant is open evenings during the week, and for lunch and dinner at the weekend. The Eagle Bar remains in place and is a separate area where you can have a nightcap (wines, cocktails, hot drinks...), or enjoy a small clubhouse-style meal.
After lunch, on weekends, guests can also indulge in a moment of relaxation at the hotel's spa... A good plan that Paperjam Foodzilla never tires of!
