An event held at St George’s International School on Saturday 6 May to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla was attended by more than 450 people. The event was organised with the support of various British groups and under the auspices of the British Embassy in Luxembourg.

In Luxembourg, an event was held to celebrate the coronation service of King Charles III, with several hundred people in attendance. The service was shown on big screens at St George’s International School on Saturday 6 May 2023.

, British ambassador to Luxembourg, stated: “This coronation ceremony is a celebration of the unity and strength of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth; and I am proud to celebrate this historic event with the communities of Luxembourg today.”

The British Chamber of Commerce, the British-Luxembourg Society, the British Ladies Club, the Anglican Church of Luxembourg, Telstar Scouts and British Girlguiding Overseas Luxembourg organised stands and activities with a distinctly British flair. The event was also joined by the embassies of Ghana and Pakistan, both members of the Commonwealth. Luxembourg’s minister for family affairs and integration,  (DP), was also in attendance.

Luxembourg’s and , along with members of other European royal families, foreign leaders and dignitaries, attended the coronation in London.
