Labour and sports minister Georges Engel (LSAP) tested positive for covid-19 and will continue working from home.

Following a routine self-test which turned out to be positive Engel has been isolating at his home and is experiencing mild symptoms. This comes after family minister and DP president Corinne Cahen tested positive on 21 March.

Engel is set to take part in Thursday's tripartite talks between government, employer and employee groups aiming to agree on measures to help households and businesses shoulder the burden of high energy prices. He will likely participate in the discussions via videoconference like Cahen did last week.
