To mark its third anniversary, Luxembourg Green Exchange (LGX) DataHub has opened up its dashboard to the public, enhancing transparency in the sustainable finance sector. This development offers unrestricted access to crucial information on a wide array of listed green, social, sustainability, and sustainability-linked (GSSS) bonds.
The exchange has indicated that the dashboard is replete with aggregated data on more than 12,333 GSSS bonds from a total of 2,812 issuers around the world, possessing a combined net value of €3.866trn.
Specifically, green bonds were reported to have a value of €2,211.98bn, social bonds accounted for €625.6bn, sustainability bonds were valued at €791.31bn, and sustainability-linked bonds summed up to €237.01bn.
The dashboard serves as a multi-faceted tool that enhances the understanding of the sustainable bond market’s current landscape. The dashboard offers a heatmap of major eligible sectors for investments such as clean transportation, renewable energies, food security, and affordable housing.
Moreover, the LGX DataHub provides an overview of geographical activities associated with GSSS issuances. The dashboard identifies the regions and countries with high issuance activities and lists the issuers possessing the most substantial number of GSSS bonds.
For registered users, the LGX DataHub offers up to 150 data points on each of the listed GSSS bonds from more than 2,800 issuers worldwide. Recognised as a reliable resource, the platform is crucial for investors and asset managers who are in the process of shaping their sustainable investment strategies, as mentioned in the Luxembourg Stock Exchange’s announcement.
