Vinissimo

This is the home of the local boss, Flavio Becca, as the Vinissimo restaurant belongs to his group, which developed all the new buildings. What makes this place special is that--as well as the restaurant--there is a wine shop, a delicatessen and a catering counter. Chef Alessandro Vannelli’s cuisine is naturally oriented towards Italy, Becca’s homeland, with a preference for refined dishes and high-quality products. You can order with your eyes closed--you won’t be disappointed with your choice. The setting is very welcoming, with lots of wood and hams hanging over the counter. A good option for a relaxed business lunch.

Ceruzzi

Recently opened, Ceruzzi will win you over with its delicious Italian cuisine and trendy, relaxed decor. On the menu, pasta, pizzas, meat and fish, salads, risotto... For those not particularly attracted to Italian cuisine, there are also sushi suggestions. And because a meal is always better when shared with others, the restaurant offers a large seating capacity to cater for all situations, whether two people or a group of 20.

This is a restaurant that’s part of the Innside Luxembourg (Mélia Group). Chef Patrice Noël makes sure that the cuisine is local, seasonal and uncomplicated. The sharing platters are a good idea for late-night meetings, and the setting is modern and relaxed.

Bistro by Oberweis

Some might say that it’s not very original, but this address has the merit of offering accessible cuisine of consistently high quality. Come for a Caesar salad, a bouchée à la reine or the suggestion of the moment. Don\t forget to save room for dessert, as the pastries are delicious. The atmosphere inside is calm, and the space is spacious, with plenty of natural light.

New Delhi

Located in the old Gasperich district just outside the Cloche d’Or is this fine Indian restaurant, which has existed for over 20 years. The daily menu, at €14.50, will be sure to convince those who work in the area. You’ll find traditional preparations and the spice levels are indicated to avoid any nasty surprises. For those who like their food very spicy, there is a page on the menu dedicated to them, listing all the ‘three chilli’ dishes. The decor, on the other hand, isn’t particularly appealing. It’s better to look at and appreciate what you have on your plate.

Origins

A small place where the atmosphere is often at its best: in this tapas and wine bar, friends and colleagues come here after work to relax. Cheese and charcuterie to share are of course high on the menu, but there are also dishes for lunch breaks. Special mention should be made of the ‘combo’ offer, with soup & quiche or dish of the day & coffee, for example. There’s a wide choice of pinsas and tapas, as well as a good choice of wines by the glass (and by the bottle, of course).

And for those who still haven’t had enough, there are also the restaurants in the Cloche d’Or shopping centre, which has a food hall.
