The Luminescences festival is back for its third year at Amnéville Zoo, confirming its status as the must-see winter event of the Grand Est region. Since its first edition, Luminescences has established itself as an eagerly-awaited event, offering visitors a magical immersion into the heart of spectacular light creations.

This year, from 19 October 2024 to 29 March 2025, the festival will be transporting visitors into an enchanting universe inspired by Asia, with the new theme of Magic Indies. Majestic lanterns, legendary creatures and illuminated landscapes invite visitors on a truly sensory and poetic journey. This event, which has become a benchmark in the region, offers everyone an unforgettable experience at the crossroads of cultural traditions.

The second edition of the Luminescences Festival at Amnéville Zoo firmly established itself as a not-to-be-missed winter event for the region. Quickly reaching its 100,000th visitor, this edition surpassed expectations with a total of 148,699 visitors, an increase of +30% on the first edition. Some 74,000 of these visitors opted for the festival’s single admission ticket, confirming its success and growing popularity with the local public.

With this meteoric rise, Amnéville Zoo is aiming to make Luminescences a key winter event in the Moselle. On the strength of this second successful edition, the park is already preparing to welcome even more visitors for future editions, and to offer an ever more immersive and environmentally-friendly experience.
