Luxair is one of the top 10 best-rated regional airlines in Europe. On a global level, the ranking remains dominated by Qatar Airways. Air France is in eighth position.

It’s not among the 100 best airlines in the world, but Luxair has made up for it by reaching seventh place in the top 10 regional airlines in Europe, according to the 2022 ranking of the British organisation Skytrax.

Skytrax surveyed 13.42m passengers of more than 100 different nationalities between September 2021 and August 2022. They were asked to name their favourite airline, without being limited by a pre-selected choice, and to rate their satisfaction, from 1 to 5, on 50 criteria. These ranged from seat comfort to check-in times. The results were then weighted according to the number of passengers on the airlines to "ensure fairness" between those of different sizes.
