In her dual role, Senanayake will lead the day-to-day operations of IQ-EQ’s office in Gasperich and will take responsibility for all activities of the fund administrator in Luxembourg, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium and Cyprus. She will be integrated as a member of the company’s group management team and will lead the finance, HR, operations, sales, risk, compliance, client management and client services departments.

IQ-EQ is going from strength to strength as it grows at pace and I am excited to work closely with my new colleagues, both in Luxembourg and internationally, to ensure that the Group continues on its upward trajectory,” stated Senanayake.

Over the last four years Senanayake served as chief executive officer for BNP Paribas Securities Services, Southeast Asia prior to holding a series of managing director positions at RBC Investor & Treasury Services.

IQ-EQ has been taking steps towards expansion over the last 12 months, , one of Ireland’s largest financial groups in 2021. This allowed the company to take a strong position in the Irish fund and corporate services market. Last November, the Luxembourg-based fund administrator also , its fourth US acquisition in less than two years.
