Created in Esch-sur-Alzette, the Luxembourg natural cosmetics brand Dandy Craft Skincare has been nominated to take part in the European Natural Beauty Awards. It is the first Luxembourg brand to be singled out in this way at the competition, which will be held on 29 September 2025.

This is great recognition for a Luxembourg brand. Solène Whiskin and Michel-Ange Rodriguez, the two co-founders of Dandy Craft Skincare, are over the moon. Their natural cosmetics brand has just been shortlisted for the European Natural Beauty Awards, a competition for innovative and inspiring natural cosmetics brands. To be eligible, brands must offer products containing at least 99% natural ingredients. Products undergo 12 weeks of testing by a panel of judges.

“This nomination is a major turning point for the local cosmetics industry. We’re showing that it’s possible to combine innovation, quality and eco-responsibility,” says Whiskin.

“Seeing our work recognised on a European scale is an immense honour. This nomination rewards our commitment to making cosmetics more natural, more responsible and accessible to everyone,” adds Rodriguez.

This is indeed the case for Dandy Craft products, recognisable with a bear on the logo. Founded in 2022, the brand offers a range of products that are unisex and free from controversial ingredients. While working in communications and chemistry respectively, the couple had wanted to get involved to “demystify the traditional cosmetics environment.”

In their laboratory in Esch-sur-Alzette, Rodriguez and Whiskin formulate and manufacture their own products, such as shower gels, shampoos and other creams with natural fragrances. They use bio-based raw materials and have opted for eco-responsible aluminium containers and recycled plastic pumps.

Their products are sold in several outlets across the country (such as Leclerc or Igorance).
