From 15 February, applications for the fourth edition of the Luxembourg Design Awards will be open to independent designers and agencies in the country.

From 15 February to 15 March 2023, designers based in Luxembourg will be able to submit their applications to participate in the fourth edition of the Luxembourg Design Awards, which will take place on 1 June at the Rotondes.

In order to cover the various sectors of design, the Luxembourg Design Awards 2023 will be awarded in eleven different categories, including a special “Junior talent” category reserved for Luxembourg pupils and students.

Among the novelties of this fourth edition, a special “Eco design” mention may also be awarded in each of the categories to an achievement considered to be respectful of the environment throughout its life cycle, sustainable, responsible, “green: or even ecological. All the entries will be judged by a jury of experts whose names will be announced in the coming weeks on the website.

For this 2023 edition, all works created in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 are eligible.

Finally, the Luxembourg Design Awards 2023 will be an integral part of the programme of the European Design Festival organised this year in the grand duchy. Open to all creative people and to the general public, the 2023 edition of the festival--whose official programme will be unveiled in March by Design Luxembourg, the project leader and organiser of the festival--will take place from 31 May to 4 June in several cultural institutions in the capital.
