Marc Schroeder has taken over as CFO of Encevo after the retirement of Guy Weicherding.

Since Friday 1 October, Marc Schroeder has taken over the financial reins of the energy company Encevo. He has been appointed financial director to replace Guy Weicherding, who has retired.

Schroeder had already been working as deputy chief financial officer in the company since February 2021. Prior to that, he worked as executive vice president of finance at Luxair and as general finance manager at ArcelorMittal.

He joins Claude Seywert, CEO of the group, Marc Reiffers, CEO of Creos, and Erik von Scholz, CEO of Enovos, on the executive committee of Encevo.

The company’s profit fell by 44% in 2020 due to the covid-19 crisis, plunging to €38.2m.
