On 26 May, the mayor of Mariupol, Vadym Serhiyovich Boytchenko, will be in Luxembourg to meet Luxembourg entrepreneurs and talk about the future.

Just over a year ago--on 20 May--the martyred city of Mariupol fell, which is now occupied by invading Russian forces. Since then, mayor Vadym Serhiyovich Boytchenko has devoted himself to preparing the post-war period and reconstruction.

A networking evening for Luxembourg entrepreneurs and representatives of Ukrainian companies, municipalities and startups is being organised on Friday 26 May, on the initiative of the LUkraine association, in collaboration with the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry represented by Nicolas Zharov.

Exploring opportunities for business collaboration

The aim is to foster business relations between Luxembourg and Ukraine as well as to explore opportunities for business collaboration. “The event will provide a platform for entrepreneurs, business representatives, municipalities and startups to meet, exchange ideas and explore potential collaboration opportunities,” say the organisers.

They expect 25 CEOs or decision-makers from companies in a wide range of sectors: banking, finance, payment systems, accounting services, asset management, fintech startups, AI solutions, architectural projects and expertise, environmentally-friendly household chemical production, food importing and recruitment.

The event will take place on Friday 26 May from 6pm at Come à la maison (70 route d'Esch, L-1470 Luxembourg). Register here to participate.
