The Swiss private bank Lombard Odier in 2015 opened a subsidiary specialised in technology for banking and business process outsourcing in Luxembourg called Lombard Odier T&O Services (Europe) S.A. This entity, which is a support PFS (professional of the financial sector) that aims to provide affiliates within the Lombard Odier group and third party financial institutions with back office and operational support, has a new CEO: Matthieu Van de Casteele.
“I look forward to working closely with the operations and IT teams to continue developing cutting-edge technological solutions contributing to the success of the Lombard Odier group,” said Van de Casteele in a on 21 April 2024 announcing his appointment.
Before joining Lombard Odier, Van de Casteele spent 10 years at the asset manager 1875 Finance (Luxembourg), where he held the roles of managing director, chief operating officer, chief compliance officer and conducting officer. Previous positions include head of KYC & account management and head of client administration support unit at Lloyds Bank Private Banking in Geneva, head of legal & compliance at Opus and Parfinance in Geneva, and compliance officer at Voltaire Group in Luxembourg.
