Michael Neumann has been appointed as the diversity, equity, inclusion and justice (DEIJ) coordinator at St George’s International School, Luxembourg.

In this role, Michael collaborates with students, staff and school leaders to promote DEIJ practices across the community. He also co-facilitates the DEIJ leadership development cohort with the Educational Collaborative for International Schools (ECIS), where he guides international teachers in exploring, embodying and advancing DEIJ practices within their school contexts.

Originally from Canada, Michael holds an MEd in educational leadership from the University of Toronto, a BEd in primary/junior education, and a BA in sociology from Trent University.

Prior to joining St George’s, Michael worked at Verdala International School in Malta for seven years, most recently as elementary assistant principal, where he also led the school’s diversity, inclusion and wellbeing programme.
