The European investment group HLD Group nominated Michèle Detaille as independent director. She takes over her new function on Friday 21 October. In 2020, she was elected most influential Business Person in Luxembourg by Paperjam Magazine.

This coming Friday,  will take up her new role as independent director for HLD Group. With her arrival, the board counts 10 members, including four independent directors, namely (Contern SA),  (EuroDNS), and Viviane Clauss (Banque de Luxembourg).

Michèle Detaille says, “becoming an independent member of the Board is an honour, and I am very grateful for the confidence that the Board of HLD Associés Europe has placed in me. HLD supports high-growth companies in a wide variety of sectors. I look forward to participating in its development within Europe.” 

The European investment group, established in Luxembourg since 2015, was founded by a group of entrepreneurs and is dedicated to supporting management teams build leading companies in their field. The group counts €2bn in capital and counts 21 companies (including Kiloutou, TSG, ba&sh, or SVR) that employ 35,000 employees and have an average annual growth rate of over 10%. 

Michèle Detaille has had a major political career in Belgium and is a successful entrepreneur. She is the first non-Luxembourgish women to ever be elected president of the FEDIL in 2019. In December 2020, she was elected “ by Paperjam Magazine.
