To replace Candi Carrera as country manager, Microsoft has not gone far: the American technology giant has recruited the director of Atos Luxembourg, Sébastien Respaut.

Between Christmas and New Year's Eve, Sébastien Respaut announced on Linkedin that he was leaving Atos Luxembourg which he had been managing for almost a decade. This Monday, Microsoft announced that it had recruited him as country manager in Luxembourg to replace Candi Carrera.

"Passionate about technology, Microsoft has almost always been part of my life," said the Lorraine native, who previously worked for Deloitte. "Over the past decade, I have been really impressed by the agility this great company shows in its strategic choices, its ability to reinvent itself and the way it builds strong and lasting relationships with its customers."

Respaut takes over the reins from Jean-Benoît Van Bunnen after Carrera's departure on 1 October. He will be part of the Belgium-Luxembourg team, reporting to Marijke Schroos.
