Miguel Ghzal has been elected chair of the Association nationale des étudiants luxembourgeois en droit (Aneld) for the year 2023-2024. Anne Weyland is taking over as vice chair.

The national association of Luxembourg law students (Aneld) has refreshed its leadership. At the end of June, it elected its new board of directors for 2023-2024. Miguel Ghzal, a Master 2 student in banking and financial law at Paris I - Panthéon Sorbonne, was voted the group’s chair. He was previously vice chair.

His predecessor, Leo Diswiscour, remains a board member of the association. Anne Weyland, former secretary, was named the new vice chair. She is studying for a LLM in international financial law at King’s College London.

Matz Mossong was elected secretary, Jessica Ferreira treasurer, Céline Niederkorn deputy secretary and Charel Bollig deputy treasurer.

Karim Bouraoui, Alessia Di Bari, Deborah Fürst, Mara Micucci, Claire Thull, Nina Schagen, Marie Wivenes and Jo Wildschutz are also members of the board.

“The year 2023/2024 will be an opportunity to continue the progress and development that Aneld has been able to achieve since its formation, and particularly in recent years,” stated the association, whose aim is to “support law students at every stage of their career.”
