After two particularly challenging years on many levels and in view of the opportunities presented by the emergence from the crisis, Luxembourg's leading independent media company, Maison Moderne, has announced a change in its leadership.
"We have different views on the way out of the crisis,” said former CEO Geraldine Knudson. “We have decided to go our separate ways".
"I thank Geraldine Knudson for her commitment since September 2020," added Mike Koedinger, founder and chairman of Maison Moderne. "Today, we no longer share the same vision for the future of the company."
The entrepreneur has specified that his return to operations in the company is effective 1 January, but that it is also a medium-term move to give the board of directors time to think about the leadership succession in a few years.
Ten days ago, Mike Koedinger had announced: "In 2022, I will personally be involved in accelerating this exit from the crisis and achieving our prime objectives. Firstly, to ensure satisfaction for our readers, our members and our customers. And to succeed in our financial goals while being an employer that allows its more than 135 employees to develop and feel pride."
