Launched in October 2022, the Impact Luxembourg label aims to boost visibility around social impact companies. These companies have to commit to at least two impact performance indicators (linked to the UN’s sustainable development goals), ensure good governance, undergo external audits and commit to remaining a business that produces social impact.
It’s necessary to “onboard” the consumer, said during his presentation, and to increase awareness amongst consumers about the idea of social impact companies.
The lunch event, which was hosted by the British Chamber of Commerce for Luxembourg at the Hotel Parc Belair, also featured opening remarks by chairman Daniel Eischen.
