On 19 July, minister of mobility and public works, François Bausch (déi Gréng) was present at the unveiling of the new design of RGTR buses.

As part of its rebranding, the minister presented a first model of the buses with a new look. The objective of the rebranding is to ensure uniformity and immediate recognition of the RGTR buses, as well as the development of the RGTR brand as a vector of quality transport services.

The new design will help distinguish between the 34 different RGTR operators, and even though the design elements,  logo, and patterns will not change, colours will be adapted per operator. The RGTR fleet currently consists of more than 1,200 buses and in 2020 it covered almost 70,000,000 km.

The project began in December 2019 and the unveiling of the new design signals the finalisation phase of the project. The lettering of the entire RGTR fleet will take place in the coming months and is scheduled to be completed for spring 2022.
