Mayor of Esch-sur-Alzette Georges Mischo and director general of Post Luxembourg Claude Strasser were on hand to officially inaugurate the brand new Espace Post outlet in the Belval Plaza shopping centre on 2 May.

Although the Espace Post Belval Plaza has been open since Monday 25 April, the official inauguration a week later was an occasion for director general Claude Strasser to explain how Post Luxembourg is modernising its branches.

“The diversification of Post’s sales network is based on changing customer needs,” Strasser said. “Extended opening hours, a complete offer in the fields of mail, finance and telecom, competent and friendly customer service as well as a central location, or even easy access by public transport, are the decisive criteria in this regard.” The new Espace Post outlets are also designed to offer easy access for customers with reduced mobility.

Located on the first floor of the shopping centre, the Espace Post Belval Plaza is open from Monday to Friday between 9am and 7pm and on Saturdays from 9am to 6pm. As well the usual services, the outlet also has a self-service zone.
