The den Atelier management says that websites such as Ticketbande.de and seatwave.de have been advertising tickets for den Atelier shows – both at the Hollerich venue and at the Rockhal – that will leave purchasers out of pocket and unable to gain access to concerts. “Don’t be fooled,” says den Atelier. “They will take your money and all you’ll get in return is a fake email confirmation that will be confiscated by security at the venue.”
The websites in question have been advertising tickets for the sold out Rammstein concert for as much as 244 euros (official tickets cost 70 euros). Upcoming shows by the likes of Smashing Pumpkins (here at den Atelier in May 2007) are also likely to attract counterfeiters and scammers.
Den Atelier also warns fans not to buy tickets from eBay or street vendors, but to buy directly from the venue’s website (www.atelier.lu) or from the following legitimate sales points:
