Five new restaurants in the Grand Duchy have been added to the “Bib Gourmand” list this week. That brought the total in Luxembourg to 15, Michelin, a travel and dining guide publisher, announced on Monday.
The Bib Gourmand label designates “quality food at a reasonable price” (as opposed to Michelin’s fine dining stars). A complete meal costs less than €37 at the establishments regardless of the style of cuisine, and were all checked by the firm’s reviewers.
The five new additions are:
Bick Stuff, Luxembourg-Clausen
Bistro 1865, Clervaux
Dahm, Erpeldange
Mamma Bianca, Luxembourg-Kirchberg
Parc Le’h, Dudelange
The returning restaurants are:
Bonifas, Nospelt
Brimer, Grundhof
La Bergamote, Luxembourg-Hollerich
L’Ecuelle, Wilwerdange
Joël Schaeffer, Mertert
Kamakura, Luxembourg-Grund
Mi et Ti, Luxembourg-Centre
Les Timandines, Troisvierges
Two 6 Two, Strassen
Du Vieux Château, Wiltz
The restaurants are featured in “Bib Gourmand Benelux 2016”, a guidebook that goes on sale, for €17.44, starting 19 November.
“Bib” stands for “Bibendum”, who is more popularly known as the “Michelin Man”.
