Luxembourg citizens head to the polls on 7 June to decide, among other matters, if non-nationals should receive suffrage after a decade’s residence in the Grand Duchy. It is probably the most controversial part of the referendum. It is surely a symbolic question. For its June cover story, published Wednesday, Delano asks if the result will only be symbolic as well.

Then, is warmer weather motiving you to get more active? Then check out Delano’s guide to fitness clubs and finding a personal trainer; and it is only time people are allowed to go quackers and throw stuff into the Pétrusse river, but no one is trying to duck their responsibility.

Also in this issue: the Rotondes culture and arts venue returns to the former engine sheds in Bonnevoie; how the Grand Duchy’s financial centre has secured better footing with the Middle Kingdom’s markets; tax consultant Michel Guilluy serves his passion for tennis; and actress Sabine Rossbach shares three favourite swimming spots.

Delano, the English language news magazine for Luxembourg’s international community, is available 20 May for €4 at newsstands across the Grand Duchy and online at www.delano.lu. And don’t forget to download Ten Things To Do This Week, our free app for iPhone & iPad.
