This chart shows the number of millionaire households in selected European countries in 2014.

Where are Europe’s millionaire households? Given that it is the EU’s most populous country and largest economy, Germany unsurprisingly grabs first place, according to the Julius Baer Wealth Report. Across the country, there are approximately 1.43 million households (3.5 percent of all households) with a net private wealth of at least €1 million, ahead of second placed France where there are 1.33 million (4.4 percent of the total number). Out of all Luxembourg’s households, nearly 23 percent have a net wealth of at least €1 million.
