Gamze and Arzu Kırtıl launch their new CD on Tuesday  Marlene Soares

Arzu and Gamze Kırtıl have made a name for themselves as one of the most expressive piano duos on the concert circuit. Arzu, who lives in Luxembourg and Gamze who resides in her native Istanbul, have recorded a new CD, Piano Duos, which they present in the chamber music hall of the Philharmonie on Tuesday May 6 at 8 p.m.. The programme features works by Chopin, Ravel, Shostakovich and Brahms as well as first ever recordings of works by British composer Maria Lord and Turkey’s Fazıl Say. Also on the bill is a piece by Luxembourg composer Camille Kerger.
