At a time when extremes are on the rise in Europe, it is important to question the vitality of our democratic institutions.

On Tuesday 8 November 2022, Jana Degrott, young elected representative of Steinsel and the first Luxembourger among the "Obama leaders", Luxembourg deputy Charles Margue, president of the justice committee and rapporteur of the draft reform of the Constitution, and Edoardo Stoppioni, professor of public law at the University of Strasbourg and specialist in the theory of emotions applied to international law, met to debate the subject "Democracy in Europe" in front of more than 90 members.

On the day of the US midterms, the introductory speech was given by Michael Margolies Konstantino, Deputy Chief of Mission of the US embassy.

We thank for its collaboration.
