Because emergencies never happen during business hours, here is where to find help.

Ambulance

In Luxembourg, you can call an ambulance on 112.

A&E

Luxembourg has four hospitals with drop-in accident and emergency services. Find your nearest and check that it is open by visiting www.sante.public.lu, under “Urgences et gardes” and “Services d’urgence des hôpitaux de garde”.

Dental emergencies

Contact the above or try the Centre Medico Dentaire, which is open seven days a week from 9:30am to 10pm (+352 49 57 99), with or without appointment.

Children’s health

The CHL Kannerklinik Luxembourg-Belair (+352 4411 6148) is open 24/7 and the Clinique Bohler in Luxembourg-Kirchberg (+352 2468 5540) is open daily from 8am to 8pm

After-hours pharmacies

On-duty chemists can be found by going to www.pharmacie.lu and clicking on “Service de garde”.

Out-of-hours medical centres

For non-urgent treatment after business hours, there are three maisons médicales de garde in Luxembourg-Gare, Esch-sur-Alzette and Ettelbruck. They are open on weekdays from 8p.m. to midnight and at weekends and on holidays from 8am to midnight, by appointment only. Call +352 20 333 111. For medical emergencies after midnight, call 112.
