Out of 26,210 covid-19 infections recorded in the six months since the vaccination campaign launched in Luxembourg, only 765 were fully vaccinated and 815 people had received one dose.

Between 1 January and 22 July 2021, fully vaccinated people have accounted for just 2.92% of the 26,210 new covid-19 infections, according to an answer published on Friday 23 July by the minister of health Paulette Lenert (LSAP) to a parliamentary question by MP Marc Hansen (déi Gréng).

Moreover, those who had only received a first dose accounted for 3.11% of infections, meaning the unvaccinated represented 93.97% of infections.
