The January 2025 issue of Paperjam magazine is devoted to the 2024 edition of the Paperjam Top 100, the ranking of Luxembourg’s most influential economic decision-makers. Here are the personalities ranked between positions 81 and 90.

81. Frédéric Surdon

has been CEO and managing director of Société Générale Luxembourg since 19 October 2023. He joined the Société Générale Group in 1995, holding various positions, including global head of asset finance until August 2023. A member of the board of directors of Société Générale Luxembourg since 2019, Surdon holds an MBA from Essec and a civil engineering degree from ESTP.

82. Philipp von Restorff

has been CEO of the Luxembourg Institute of Governance (ILA) since 1 March 2023. Prior to this appointment, he held the position of deputy CEO at Luxembourg for Finance for almost four years. He also sits on the boards of the Luxembourg Sustainable Finance Initiative (LSFI) and the Luxflag fund labelling agency. Previously, von Restorff was an adviser to the management committee, head of communications and secretary to the board of the Luxembourg Bankers’ Association (ABBL).

83. Corinne Lamesch

has been deputy CEO and general counsel of the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (Alfi) since 16 September 2024. She has over 25 years of experience in the Luxembourg fund industry. After starting her career in 1998 as a lawyer at A&O Shearman and Clifford Chance, Lamesch joined Fidelity International in 2008, where she was appointed head of Luxembourg in 2017. A member of the Alfi board since 2017, she was its chairperson from June 2019 to June 2023.

84. Tatiana Fabeck

is an architect recognised for her significant contributions to contemporary architecture in Luxembourg. A 1994 graduate of the École spéciale d'architecture de Paris, she founded her own practice, Fabeck Architectes, in 1996. Notable achievements include the Maison des sciences humaines in Belval and the ‘Vivre sans voiture’ project in Luxembourg, which won first prize in 2011. In 2020, Fabeck was nominated for the Mies van der Rohe Prize, a prestigious European architectural award. She is also active in professional associations, having been vice-president of the Luxembourg Center for Architecture (Luca) from 2013 to 2019 and president of the Valentiny Foundation since 2014.

85. Jerry Grbic

has been CEO of the Luxembourg Bankers’ Association (ABBL) since 1 April 2022. Prior to this appointment, he headed Fortuna Banque as CEO from 2015. His banking career began in 1996 at Banque Internationale à Luxembourg (Bil), where he held various positions, notably in credit analysis and business development. In 2008, Grbic joined Banque Degroof Luxembourg to develop the local market.

86. Ferd Feidt

Ferd Feidt is CEO of Bétons Feidt. A graduate of the Institut supérieur d'architecture de la communauté française (ISACF)--La Cambre, he began his career as a freelance architect from 1994 to 1996. He then joined Bétons Feidt in 1996 as director, before becoming CEO in 2003. The company has expanded to 14 sites in three countries. Feidt is also a director of Carrières Feidt and Recyfe, reflecting his commitment to the construction and recycling sector.

87. Mark Tluszcz

, born in 1966, is co-founder and CEO of Mangrove Capital Partners, a venture capital company set up in 2000. Under his leadership, Mangrove has invested in over 120 companies, including Skype and Wix.com, generating exceptional returns. Mark has been chairman of Wix.com since 2016 and sits on the boards of several technology companies. Prior to Mangrove, he spent ten years at Arthur Andersen. A graduate of Eckerd College, Tluszcz is known for his bold approach to investing.

88. Marianne Welter

is managing director of Arthur Welter Transports, a family business founded in 1962. After completing a transport apprenticeship in Germany from 1986 to 1989, she joined the company, where she took on various responsibilities, notably in the freight forwarding and logistics department. Under her leadership, the company expanded its international activities, employing around 770 people and operating a fleet of 800 vehicles. Welter is also president of the transport group of the Confédération luxembourgeoise du commerce (CLC).

89. Robert Glaesener

is renowned for his contributions to the technology sector. After studying at HEC Paris and earning an MBA at Harvard Business School, he began his career at Mars in 1993. In 2000, he co-founded Internaxx, an online banking joint venture which he ran until 2010. In 2010, he joined Talkwalker, a company specialising in social media analysis, which he transformed into an international company employing more than 450 people and which was sold in 2024 to the giant Hootsuite. In 2022, he also co-founded Fiveoffices, a real estate platform. Glaesener sits on the board of Governance.com and has been a member of the business federation Fedil since 2019.

90. Patrick Mischo

is managing parter of the Luxembourg office of A&O Shearman, which was formed from the merger between the Allen & Overy and Shearman & Sterling law firms in 2024. An expert in international tax law, he has been advising private equity, real estate and infrastructure clients on complex transactions and tax structuring for over 20 years. Called to the bar in 2001, Mischo is a graduate of Sciences-Po Paris, Université Panthéon-Sorbonne and King’s College London. He is an active member of Alfi and the Luxembourg Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (LPEA).
