The firm says the move is part of its aim to strengthen its transfer pricing presence “by ensuring it has key partners fully focused on the Luxembourg market”.

Pawel Wroblewski has joined PwC Luxembourg as a tax partner on the company’s transfer pricing team. Wroblewski’s career working for prestigious law and professional services firms, which has taken him to Poland and the Netherlands, also includes a previous stint at PwC Luxembourg from 2014 to 2018.

PwC Luxembourg says its transfer pricing team is one of the largest in Luxembourg. New legislative developments and increased focus of the Luxembourg tax authorities and opportunities in the growing alternatives sector mean the local market holds a lot of potential for transfer pricing.

“In order to continue our market leadership position and to grow further in the coming years, we have identified key success factors necessary for us to capture the full market potential - and this means ensuring that we are the essential “TP advisor to have” for Alternatives with the ambition to become a centre of excellence for Alts in the TP network,” says Gerard Cops, Partner, tax services leader. “For this, we will have to continue to deliver smartly and efficiently for our existing clients, continue our transformation journey and increase process automation, while remaining client-centric and hiring great people. We are sure that Pawel’s addition will help us in our ambitions to better serve our clients and the markets.”
