Luxembourg’s parliament is set to discuss a new investment strategy by the country’s pension fund during a debate on Thursday. Delano’s Cordula Schnuer and Ara City Radio’s Tom Clarke on Monday looked at what’s at stake.

Speaking during Ara City Radio’s Top of the Week feature with Delano, Cordula and Tom talked about how the pension works and why its investment strategy has come under scrunity. For several years, there have been calls for the fund to become greener and more sustainable as it currently exceeds its carbon budget to keep the Earth’s warming at 2°C.

To kick off the week, Cordula and Tom also talked about some upcoming events, including a at the Le Bovary café on 7 February, a that starts on Friday and a that’s also coming up on 10 February.

Finally, Cordula’s personal tip of the week is a foodie trip to Düsseldorf. Home to one of Europe’s biggest Japanese communities, the city’s Little Tokyo district is just three hours away from Luxembourg and offers a tantalising selection of Japanese cuisine.
