Philippe Di Palma succeeds Sven Olbrechts, who was in the role for almost six years.

In his new role as HP country manager in Luxembourg, Philippe Di Palma will take over part of the management of HP’s activities in the Grand Duchy, and will be responsible for commercial strategy, particularly in the area of PC, print, channel and partner network development.

Di Palma has more than 20 years of experience in the technology ecosystem and joined HP more than 5 years ago. He was previously sales manager for the entire Luxembourg territory, in charge of large accounts, SME and public sector clients, more specifically for the European Institutions. “My main objective is to continue our growth in Luxembourg, through the development of our business, new synergies that we identify for our brands, a specific focus on the solutions and services we offer to our customers in addition to products at the forefront of security and innovation, and with a particular emphasis on strengthening our network of partners,” Di Palma said in a statement.

Koen Van Beneden, HP managing director for Belgium and Luxembourg, welcomed the appointment--he has been working closely with Di Palma for many years. “Philippe is a man on the ground who likes to take his pilgrim’s stick in order to set up new teams and develop activities,” Van Beneden said. “That is what he loves and what motivates him every day. It presents the skills and capabilities needed to boost the growth of our company on the Luxembourg market and develop our new sales structure with a core of very close-knit sales teams.”
