If you’re planning on using public transport over the holidays, there are some changes to the schedule to take note of.

Public transport across the country will largely stop operating between Friday evening around 8pm, Christmas eve, and the following morning. Services on 25 and 26 December will follow regular public holiday schedules for the most part.

There will be no late-night bus service in the TICE network in the south on Saturday 25 December; however, the Luxembourg City night bus services will operate. On new year’s eve, public transport will operate as normal with a public holiday schedule on 1 January and regular Sunday service on 2 January.

The Luxembourg City late-night bus service and other bus lines will run a longer schedule into the early hours of the new year, with the last buses leaving between 6am and 6:30am, depending on the line. The last tram will leave Luxexpo on 1 January at 5am and from the Gare at 5:28am, before resuming its public holiday schedule later in the morning.
