The first edition of the WIB Tennis Challenge drew more than 50 Luxembourg businesswomen, according to Women in Business.
The business networking group, known for the annual golf tournament it has hosted since 2001, holds a series of social and cultural events. “The objective of WIB is motivated by our desire to exchange points of view, share experiences and draw new inspiration from the experiences experienced by our members and our guests at the events we organise on a regular basis,” Isabelle Faber, the group’s chair, stated in a press release issued on Sunday.
The challenge was led by the former professional tennis players Anne Kremer and Claudine Schaul, and started with a cardio-tennis session. It closed with a prize-giving evening, with proceeds going to the charities Catch a Smile and Fondation Dr Elvire Engel. The event was held at Tennis Club Bonnevoie.
