PM-International has been awarded a special certification marking 20 years of uninterrupted SuperDrecksKëscht® fir Betriber (SDK) label recognition, reaffirming its long-standing commitment to sustainability at its international headquarters in Luxembourg.

The SDK label, developed jointly by the ministry of the Environment, Climate and Biodiversity, the Chamber of crafts and the Chamber of commerce, recognises organizations that demonstrate excellence in sustainable waste management and continuous environmental improvement. Maintaining the certification for two decades reflects the integration of responsible practices into PM-International’s daily operations. “This certification is the result of consistent daily effort from our teams. Sustainable waste management is not an isolated initiative. It is part of how we operate every day”, says Ralf Schneider, team lead caretaker at PM-International “The recognition reflects a broader sustainability strategy across the company.”

PM-International’s flagship brand FitLine® develops nutritional supplements without preservatives, uses natural sweeteners and flavors and formulates cosmetics without microplastics. The company also continues to expand the use of recycled and recyclable packaging material and works with suppliers that meet recognised social and environmental standards.

Beyond its environmental commitments, PM-International helps improve the lives of 8,500 sponsored children, their families and communities through access to water, education and healthcare, reflecting the company’s commitment to creating a positive social impact alongside its business activities.

As a Luxembourg-headquartered company with a global presence, PM-International also invests in sustainable innovation through its collaboration with the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (List), including the Activis project, which explores the use of local winery by-products in the development of innovative bioactive dietary supplements.

This award, marking 20 years of SDK certification, highlights PM-International’s commitment to combining international growth, responsible business practices and sustainable innovation in Luxembourg.
