Polish business chamber sees out summer

The Luxembourg-Poland Chamber of Commerce on 23 September closed summer and marked the “rentrée” with its Summer Business Party.

The event was hosted at the Polish ambassador’s residence for corporate members from the grand duchy and Poland. Every year, the event spotlights one of Poland’s regions with Opole Voivodship doing the honours this year.

The province is the smallest and least populated, around 90km from Wroclaw to the north-west and 100km from Katowice to the south-east.

The get together was an opportunity for networking and to celebrate business and diplomatic ties between both countries.

Luxembourg and Poland this year mark 100 years of diplomatic relations. Nearly 5,000 Polish nationals live in the grand duchy and the Polish embassy in Luxembourg launched an anniversary campaign that shines a spotlight on the contributions made by the Polish community to Luxembourg society.
