Post and Luxcontrol have joined forces to create a label called Cyberscore, which is dedicated to assessing the maturity of companies in the face of cybersecurity risks.

Just as the Nutri-Score A attests to the good nutritional qualities of a food product, the Cyberscore A will confirm a company’s maturity in terms of cybersecurity. Post and Luxcontrol have joined forces to create this Cyberscore label for businesses, which aims to “assess and improve their posture with regard to cybersecurity risks.”

“International standards such as ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and the controls of the center for internet security (CIS) provide guidelines for the development of this assessment and labelling process, which includes 18 areas and more than 90 control points,” the two partners explained.

In practical terms, Luxcontrol will carry out the on-site assessment. It will award the company a Cyberscore ranging from A to E, accompanied by a detailed report indicating its strengths and weaknesses.

A company achieving an A or B level will be awarded the Cyberscore label. If not, it will receive a detailed report with recommendations for drawing up a cybersecurity action plan. They will also be able to call on the support of Post experts to help them implement the plan.

The official launch is scheduled for “the start of the 2023 school year.” The price will be announced at that time, said Post.
