The Luxembourg Post services will not be able to send letters and packages to Ukraine for the foreseeable time as air traffic to the country has been suspended following the attacks by Russia.

Post on 24 February announced that any packages for that destination will be refused at the post office, as the group cannot assure their delivery. This follows the military offensive initiated by Russia in the early hours of Thursday. While tensions had permeated on the eastern border of the country for the past eight years, Russia's military involvement is now out in the open. Bombings have been recorded in several areas, including Kiev.

Luxembourg’s prime minister Xaviel Bettel (DP) will travel to Brussels to attend the European summit convened by the president of the European Council, Charles Michel.
