Luxembourg-headquartered Quintet Private Bank has announced the launch of its Finnish desk and the recruitment of five Finnish wealth management professionals.

Quintet’s five new Finnish wealth management professionals, who previously worked together at Union Bancaire Privée and at Danske Bank, all joined the bank in September, Quintet said in a press release issued on 19 September 2024. The five are joining Mads Midtgaard, their former Danske Bank colleague, who has held the position of market head, Nordic International, at Quintet Luxembourg since 2021.

“I could not be happier to reunite with my former colleagues and look forward to working closely with them to further expand our Nordic growth horizons,” Midtgaard commented in the communiqué. “While our Luxembourg-based Nordic International team comes from different parts of Europe’s far north, we share a commitment to always putting client needs first.”

The team now includes 15 professionals focused on serving Nordic-domiciled clients and expatriates in Europe, said the press release, and the bank aims to grow the team in the future. The recruitment is aligned with Quintet’s overall Nordic strategy and comes as the bank continues to expand its activities in Denmark through Quintet Danmark, the firm’s Copenhagen-headquartered branch that opened in 2020.
