Banking veteran Warren Hastings has been named group co-head of investment and head of portfolio management at Luxembourg-headquartered Quintet Private Bank, the bank on Friday 6 October 2023 .
Hastings has an extensive background in the financial services sector, accumulating experience over approximately 30 years. Prior to this appointment, he spent 12 years with Credit Suisse, initially working in Asia and later relocating to Zurich for the last five years. In his most recent role at Credit Suisse, Hastings held the position of head of investment management, international locations.
Hastings’ career began at Schroders where he worked as a pan-Asian equity fund manager in London and Singapore. Following this, he moved to Standard Chartered, also based in Singapore, to serve as the head of portfolio management.
In his new role at Quintet, Hastings will be responsible for overseeing the firm’s portfolio management team, which has a focus that includes sustainable investing. He will share the leadership of Quintet’s investment function with the group chief investment officer, Daniele Antonucci. Antonucci currently leads the bank’s investment research activities and is responsible for defining the organisation’s house investment view.

Hastings, a British national who is now based in Luxembourg, expressed his eagerness to collaborate with the Quintet team, extending “holistic investment advice, content and portfolio management services” to the bank’s clients and future generations.
