The grand duchy's Renault and Dacia dealerships, which have been part of the Emil Frey group since October 2022, will now adopt the Groupe Autosphere Luxembourg brand, Renault Luxembourg announced in a press release on Friday 22 November. This rebranding follows a trend in France and Belgium, where the group's dealerships also operate under the Autosphere brand.
The goal? To clarify the organisation of the group's activities. "The aim is to standardise our message across the various countries where Emil Frey is present and to commit all our teams to the same banner (Autosphere), focused on customer satisfaction", stated sales director Stefan Przybyla.
In terms of staff numbers, there are no changes to report. The group will retain its 240 employees, and the Autosphere brand will be responsible for sales and after-sales of Renault and Dacia vehicles at the Bertrange, Capellen, Diekirch, Dudelange and Esch-Belval dealerships, as well as the Alpine brand at the Smets Flagship in Strassen. "We are delighted to be joining Europe's largest car distribution group, with 26 dealerships and 31 brands in France," said Przybyla.
While Autosphere has no plans to introduce any new brands in Luxembourg for the time being, the group is planning to launch new offerings in the near future, including products and services based around mobility and car use, and an even wider range of used vehicles.
