Scandinavian design furniture brand Bolia will open its first Luxembourg store on Luxembourg City’s Grand-Rue at the end of October.

Until recently, the 1,300 m2 site at 33 Grand-Rue was occupied by the pop-up store of the NGO Friendship. Previously, it hosted Pull&Bear, which closed in October 2020 following restructuring by its parent company, the Inditex group.

The new occupant received its keys at the beginning of this month, Cushman & Wakefield told Paperjam. The agent behind the deal said that work to re-fit the interior is planned before the store opens on 28 October.

Currently, the brand, founded in 2000, is distributed in the grand duchy via the Carrerouge store in Hollerich and the Sichel store in Howald.

Based in Denmark, Bolia offers Scandinavian design furniture made from natural and sustainable materials, according to its website. It has four sales outlets in Belgium, located in Antwerp, Brugge, Ghent and Brussels. It is also present in major cities in France and Germany.
