If you’re a young woman of Irish descent living in Luxembourg, this competition might be for you.

The International Rose contest seeks to find the young woman of Irish heritage who best epitomises Irish grace and charm.

Irish communities around Ireland and around the world send a representative “rose” to the Rose of Tralee International Festival, “which brings women of Irish descent from around the world to County Kerry for a global celebration of Irish culture,” organisers said. The “international rose” is then named during the festival.
