From 10 to 15 May, Luxembourg residents will be able to have a look at second-hand cars at the tenth edition of the AutoOccasiounsFestival organised by the Luxembourg automobile distribution federation Fedamo.

With a shortage in superconductor chips slowing the production of new cars last year, used cars have gained in value and interest from buyers. Last year, 65,787 second-hand vehicles were registered, Fedamo announced, against 61,637 in 2020. Over the first quarter of 2022, an additional 15,628 were sold in the grand duchy.

The federation in its press release also promises an in-depth control for cars prior to sales.  will participate in the festival, which has been organised with the help of AutoMotoNordstad in Ettelbrück. Among participants are Autopolis in Bertrange and Garage Losch.
