The Belgian group Securex announced Friday morning that its Luxembourg entity has acquired IF Payroll & HR and, with 110 employees serving 1,700 customers and processing 40,000 salaries, and becoming "the leading HR service provider in Luxembourg".

"We are very proud to welcome the talented employees of IF Payroll & HR to the Securex family," stated Pascal Cieslewicz, managing director of Securex Luxembourg. "This is an important step in our growth strategy. By combining our strengths, we are consolidating our presence on the Luxembourg market and offering customers even more value-added services. What's more, in the small market that Luxembourg represents, this acquisition will give us the opportunity to invest further in high-performance tools to better support our customers in the future."

Securex will bring payroll management, HR consultancy and outsourcing, monitoring and information on the legal framework, fleet and mobility management, dedicated HR training and the digitisation of HR data to the expertise of IF Payroll & HR, which will retain its name, its offices and its founders at the helm for the time being. The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.

Lucien Komes, CEO and co-founder (with CFO Jean-Marie Schockmel) explained: “As we approached retirement, we began looking for a partner to continue the story of our company, and the discussions with Securex were very constructive, thanks to the values we share.”

In 2023, Securex achieved a turnover of €317m. The Securex Group has more than 1,900 employees in Belgium, France, Spain, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. They provide services to 250,000 customers, including 91,000 businesses, 147,000 self-employed people and 5,700 partners in Belgium.
